No-code testing

No-code test automation, from a screen recording

Codeless test tools still ask you to learn a recorder, a visual editor or a scripting language. With ReplayQA, the only skill you need is recording your screen.

  • Free trial, no card
  • Any screen recorder
  • No code, no plugin
  1. 1Record one flow with any screen recorder
  2. 2Upload the MP4 or WebM
  3. 3AI writes the test steps and final check
  4. 4Replay it in a real browser every release

No-code test automation lets people create automated tests without writing or reading code. ReplayQA takes that literally: you record a flow on your web app with any screen recorder and upload the video. AI writes the steps, ReplayQA proves them in a real browser, and the saved test replays whenever you press Play.

What "no-code" usually means, and what it means here

Many codeless tools replace code with something else to learn: a browser plugin that records clicks, a visual flow builder, or a special plain-English syntax. They're easier than a test framework, but someone still has to learn the tool.

ReplayQA removes those jobs:

  • No test code. Steps are plain words like "Click Checkout", edited in a form.
  • No browser plugin. Record with the tool already on your computer. A Chrome extension exists if you want it, but it's optional.
  • No selectors to maintain. Elements are found by the words on screen, like a person would.
  • No test infrastructure. Browsers are hosted; there's nothing to set up.

Who can create tests

Anyone who can use your app and record their screen: founders, product managers, designers, support staff and manual testers, as well as engineers who'd rather not hand-write end-to-end tests.

What it handles

Recorded tests often break on the tricky parts of a UI. ReplayQA handles:

  • Dropdowns, including multi-select
  • Checkboxes, radio buttons and menus
  • Native date fields, typed dates and calendar popups
  • In-page dialogs and cookie banners closed on camera
  • Sign-in flows, with passwords stored encrypted and masked in screenshots

Steps that choose a file to upload aren't supported yet.

Results anyone can read

Every run shows a pass or fail, a screenshot of every step and a video. When a test fails, you see the frame from your original video beside the screenshot from the run, with a plain-English reason. No stack traces, no logs to dig through.

Frequently asked questions

Can non-developers create automated tests?

Yes. With ReplayQA, anyone who can use the app and record their screen can create an automated test. Upload the video, review the plain-English steps and save.

Is no-code test automation reliable?

It depends on how the tool finds elements and whether runs repeat. ReplayQA finds elements by the words on screen and replays the same saved steps every time, so results are repeatable. Each test is proven in a real browser before it's saved.

Do I need to install anything?

No. Upload a video from any recorder. Tests run in hosted browsers.

Can engineers still edit tests?

Yes. Anyone can adjust steps, values and final checks in a form, and ReplayQA validates the change before saving it.
